1957 work commenced on the construction of the A-1 nuclear power plant in Jaslovské Bohunice, Slovakia
1968 the world`s largest gas loop put into operation; its specifications enabled its use for research into fuel assemblies and control mechanisms
1970 contract signed by the USSR and Czechoslovakia on cooperation in the construction and commissionning of two VVER 440 reactors
1972 the A-1 NPP (1 x 150 MWe GCHWR) commissioned
1979 manufacture of complete reactors began in a newly built Reactor Shop
1980 manufacture and delivery of the first VVER 440/V-213 pressure vessel for the Paks NPP, Hungary
1983 design, manufacture, installation and commissioning of an LVR-15 experimental reactor for the Nuclear Research Institute Řež
1989 manufacture and delivery of the first VVER 1000/V-320 pressure vessel for the Belene NPP, Bulgaria
1990 design, manufacture, installation and commissioning of an experimental teaching reactor VR-1P for the Czech Technical University, Prague
1993 privatization of ŠKODA a.s. and founding of ŠKODA JADERNÉ STROJÍRENSTVÍ s.r.o.
1994 first major contract for Ukraine - compact spent fuel storage racks for the Rovno NPP
commencement of production of CASTOR®
1997 opening of a new precise machining production shop
first contracts in the West European nuclear market
1998 change of the company`s name to ŠKODA JS s.r.o.
1999 transformation of the company`s legal form from a limited liability company to the joint-stock company ŠKODA JS
tender won to supply the natural gas processing plant to Sosnogorsk, Russian Federation
2000 ČEZ tender won to refurbish the Dukovany NPP`s Instrumentation & Control system (supply of M1 – M2 modules)
2001 long-term contract signed on cooperation with the German company GNB Essen for the manufacture and delivery of spent nuclear fuel casks
2002 Temelin NPP Unit 1 commissioning and handover to the end customer in the scope of final supply – primary circuit and fuel management systems
2003 Temelin NPP Unit 2 commissioning and handover to the end customer in the scope of final supply – primary circuit and fuel management systems
2004 a new owner, the Russian OMZ company, entered ŠKODA JS
commissioning and handover of a natural gas processing plant in Sosnogorsk, Russian Federation, to the customer
2005 signing of a contract for the supply of a support ring and the internal parts for an EPR reactor in the Finnish Olkiluoto NPP
signing of contracts for the supply of casks for nuclear power plants Obrigheim, Kozloduy and Ignalina
2006 signing of a contract for an upgrade of LVR-15 and LR-0 research reactors in Nuclear Research Institute Řež a.s.
supply of 16 VPVR casks for the transport of spent fuel from research reactors to MAAE and the Nuclear Research Institute Řež
2007 a tender won for the second stage of the Dukovany NPP`s Instrumentation & Control Refurbishment project (supply of M3 - M5 modules)
contract signed with Électricité de France on the supply of spent fuel transfer facility for a new unit of the Flamanville NPP, France, with an EPR reactor
2008 conclusion of a long term contract with ČEZ, a.s. for maintenance of the reactor building logical unit at Dukovany and Temelín NPP
2009 conclusion of a contract for supply of nuclear island key systems for completion of Mochovce NPP, Unit 3 &4
conclusion of a contract for supply of EPR reactor internals for Chinese Taishan NPP, Unit 1
