Significance of the Project to the Czech Republic
MIR.1200 is an example of cooperation that stems from a long-term partnership of Czech, Russian, European and other international companies. As for the bid, the MIR-1200 Consortium pays remarkable attention to ensure that at least 70% of equipment, work and services will come from the Czech Republic. Thereby it offers a lot of new business and work opportunities for Czech suppliers.
Implementation of the project in the Czech Republic:
- will enable large technical and economical development of Czech producers - subcontractors
- will increase employment rate and significantly contribute to development of qualification level of Czech technical education
- will considerably increase the chances of Czech companies to participate in new projects based on the same technology in the third countries.
Yet within the phase of preparations for the tender, the MIR-1200 Consortium concluded preliminary agreements with more than twenty significant Czech and European companies.
The Consortium also realizes the needs of the Czech power industry in the field of human potential development. That is why it plans for wide-scope Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) projects on the high school and university level of technical education, especially in the field of power industry.
