SKODA JS will supply the crucial parts of Mochovce NPP

Completion of the Slovakian Mochovce NPP Unit 3&4 will be executed in notable participation of Czech firms.
The flagship of the Czech nuclear industry, Pilsen seated SKODA JS, will become the key contractor of the significant part of technological equipment for the nuclear island. On Monday, 3rd November 2008 the company agreed with the investor Slovenske elektrarne, a,s. the scope of the Work as well as the price range. The final price will be specified in further meetings with anticipated signing contract by the end of this year.
As a result of the latest negotiations, also an early works contract (so-called Mobilization Contract) is to be signed by the end of this week. Its purpose is to start immediately preparation of the site infrastructure and engineering activities. Thus, the time before signing final contract between the companies Slovenske elektrarne and SKODA JS will be utilized effectively.
By obtaining this business case, SKODA JS has confirmed its position of a crucial subject on the nuclear power market.
