Press release – International Project for Temelin
On the basis of investor’s requests of March 11, 2010, International MIR.1200 Consortium, led by ŠKODA JS, elaborated a document containing basic specification of solutions concerning fifty key spheres that were divided into four chapters. The document has been submitted to the representatives of CEZ.

SKODA JS in 2009
The year 2009 has been the tenth successful year of SKODA JS a.s. within a consecutive period since 2000. As compared to 2008, company revenues increased by 27% and reached CZK 3.9 billion, 38% of which accrues from export. The value of newly received orders increased in a leap due to new long-term contracts by 195% and hit a record of CZK 11.7 billion.

Conclusion of a Consortium Agreement for the Tender for Temelin Nuclear Power Plant Completion Project
On October 27, 2009, a meeting of the Steering Committee of a consortium comprising of ŠKODA JS a.s., JSC Atomstroyexport and OKB Gidropress was held in relation to the tender for construction of two units at the Temelín nuclear power plant, for which the consortium is going to offer a design named MIR.1200 (Modernized International Reactor with power output of 1200 MWe).

Conclusion of a Contract for Completion of Unit 3 and 4 at Mochovce NPP
On Thursday, June 11, 2009 a contract for completion of the nuclear island of Unit 3 and 4 at Mochovce NPP was signed in Bratislava between ŠKODA JS a.s. and Slovenské elektrárne, a.s. Thereby a two-year period of negotiations and preparations is crowned. ŠKODA JS is one of the five main contractors for this project.
