Škoda JS enters consortium to bid on Temelín

Czech company Škoda JS and Russian firms Atomstroyex-port and Gidropress signed a consortium contract on joint participation in a tender for the completion of the nuclear power plant Temelín, the firms said at a meeting at the Russian Embassy.
Škoda JS is a consortium leader. The firms said they have already submitted a qualifying bid. The other firms that entered the Kč 500 billion tender are U.S.-based Westinghouse Electric Company and France's Areva. The winner of the tender will be made public in 2011.
