Twenty years ago, ŠKODA JS entered a quite new market of PWR and BWR-type nuclear reactors. A prerequisite for success was obtaining of necessary certifications (ISO, ASME, DIN, CEFRI, etc.). Once the customers ascertained that the company always produces equipment in a given time and quality, ŠKODA JS became a qualified supplier of nuclear equipment to main contractors and operators of nuclear power plants in Europe, USA and Far East. ŠKODA JS is capable of equipment manufacture pursuant to customer’s documentation, or eventually development and manufacture of entirely new equipment pursuant to basic design assignment.
