Fresh fuel components
Owing to the high expertise in the field of VVER fuel assemblies testing, ŠKODA JS has become a contractor supplying fresh nuclear fuel components, i.e. the top and bottom nozzles, for VVER-440 and VVER-1000 nuclear power plants according to Westinghouse Electric design. In 2008, several tens of pairs of top and bottom nozzles were supplied for new fuel procured for South Ukraine NPP. Total several hundreds of pairs of the equipment have been produced in ŠKODA JS so far.
