Thermocouples

Thermoelectric temperature sensors are made from a cable with mineral insulation, and can be applied in situations where their advantages outweigh the wire thermocouples. Such advantages are, for example, a quick reaction time to the change in the measured temperature, pliability, small size, greater stability of the outlet signal, and high pressure resistance.

The thermoelectric conductors inside the cable are coated with X8CrNiTi18/10 stainless steel, X15CrNiSi25/20 fire resistant steel, or Inconel 600. There are one or two pairs of thermoelectric conductors in one cable. The external diameter ranges from 0.5 mm to 6 mm.

Thermoelectric temperature sensors can be used to measure mass temperature during technological processes, to control thermal processing, for intra-reactor measurement of coolant temperature, for measurement of reactor pressure vessel wall temperature, to be placed into pipes, tanks, industrial facilities, in furnaces, and finally, in aggressive environments, provided that protective fittings are used. The miniature sensors can be applied to electronic circuits, in both the insulated version as well as floating connection. A special structure can be used in medicine.
