Investment Engineering

ŠKODA JS has longtime experience in management of large nuclear investment projects. The organization unit responsible for company’s activities in this field is Nuclear Power Plants Engineering Division, where tens of designers, calculation specialists and other highly qualified employees of different professions work.  Our rich experience in research and development may also be complemented by lots of references from nuclear power projects management. Project coordination and implementation skills include a complex spectrum of activities, starting with detail design elaboration up to handover of a completed work to the customer.  At design activities, state-of-the-art digital information technology is used.

In its history, ŠKODA JS has elaborated a complex detail design for the primary circuit and fuel management system of total ten VVER 440 and 1000-type nuclear units, including their upgrade, and also several research reactors. After commissioning of a nuclear power plant, ŠKODA JS continues in cooperation with its customer by means of provision of further services.
