Plzeň-based ŠKODA JS buys MOVYKO JE

Key employees of MOVYKO JE have been working in the nuclear power industry since 1989. The entire team of 30 top nuclear experts currently consists mainly of designers, engineers, calculators, welders and assembly workers who have experience from projects at Bohunice, Dukovany, Temelín and Mochovce NPPs.
"With this acquisition, we gain unique know-how and expand our portfolio of services and products in the field of servicing and modernisation of nuclear power plants. This is a strategic move on our part, strengthening our role in ensuring reliable operation and extending the lifetime of nuclear power plants to 60+ years," said ŠKODA JS CEO František Krček.
"Together, we will be able to offer our customers even more comprehensive and innovative solutions for the safe and efficient operation of nuclear power plants," added František Krček.
ŠKODA JS purchased the stake being sold from Pactio a.s., and the transaction is now fully completed and settled.
